Woke up this morning, went to turn on Food Network while I cooked breakfast and…nothing. Someone turned off the wrong switch in a building Metrocast does not have access to. Not cool.
We did lots of reading today. I’m currently reading Clash of Kings in the Game of Thrones series and The American Heiress. Yes, I’m one of those people that has multiple books going at once. The likelihood of me finishing them both tomorrow on the train is high.
We also went down to Sailfest, had some fried down and looked at the sailboat:
It was very hot and very crowded, so we stopped into Hot Rod Cafe for wings and a beer. The had Leinenkugel Summer Shandy on tap, one if my favorites. It’s a very refreshing wheat beer. Even Matt likes it!
We ended the night watching the fireworks on the green. It was a pretty sweet show and it was nice to just walk over to campus with our chairs! Amy and Stacy had the dogs on the green too, so we hung out with them.
Tomorrow I drop off the on-call phone to Amy, then get on a train for Philly to go to an interview at Bryn Mawr. I’m pretty excited…it’s a pretty awesome school.
I’m off to do research via my phone and watch more Nature’s Greatest Events!
